Study in South Korea
The visa requirements and eligibility for studying in South Korea vary based on the chosen university. Nepalese students can apply for two main types of study visas: the D-2 Visa and the D-4 Visa.
The D-4 Visa in South Korea doesn’t allow for studying major courses or employment. For Nepalese students to study and work, the D-2 Visa is essential, requiring IELTS certification in Nepal.
While it’s possible to convert D-4 to D-2 after a Korean language class in South Korea, this route tends to be more costly than obtaining a D-2 Visa directly.
After completing your program in South Korea, you can apply for a D-10 Visa, which allows you to work full-time for six months after graduation, giving you the opportunity to search for and secure a job in the country.
